Medium Circle Sculptural Planter, I
This series grew out of a long-held fascination with winter branches. Their tangle of lines, and the way snow gathers and clings to them, softens some edges while heightening others. The landscape becomes a study in abundance, with thousands of crossing marks revealed where leaves once hid them, each limb tracing its own path through space.
This piece functions as both sculptural object and planter. It is suitable for bonsai, succulents, and small plantings, with a form that leans more expressive than traditional bonsai containers. The structure has been considered with bonsai use in mind, including straighter sides to support repotting and an integrated area for mesh over the drainage.
