This series of planters grew out of an ongoing fascination with processes that resist absolute control. Each form was built to welcome transformation. Fired in the intense heat of the soda kiln, I designed it to bend, warp, and alter the structure as it moved through firing.
This piece functions as both sculptural object and planter. It is particularly suitable for succulents and small plantings.
